How verification works
A badge on STUDIOLIST answers exactly one question: is this account really who it says it is? It is a trust indicator, not a rank, a prize, or a product.
What a badge means
- It does mean: we checked public evidence and confirmed this account belongs to the person or organisation it claims.
- It does not mean: anything about the quality of the music, the studio, or the opinions in a review.
What a badge never does
- · It does not move a studio up in search results or on Explore.
- · It does not weight a review or a rating.
- · It does not grant moderation powers over anyone else’s content.
- · It cannot be bought. A paid plan is a paid plan; identity is identity.

Blue marks a person. Amber marks an organisation. They carry different permissions, and they are never interchangeable.

How to apply
- 1. Fill in the form in your settings, choosing the badge that fits.
- 2. Add public links we can check — your own site, a label or agency page, your artist profile on a streaming service, an event listing. The more of them point at each other, the faster this goes.
- 3. A reviewer checks them and approves, rejects, or asks for more. You can see the state of your application at any time.
We ask for as little personal information as possible. A legal name is optional, only visible to reviewers, and never shown on your profile.
Impersonation
Verification is per account. 7g3, 7g3_official and 7g3_real are three unrelated accounts, and verifying one never verifies the others. Badges are drawn by the app, so nobody can type one into a display name.
If you find an account pretending to be someone, use Report → Impersonation on their profile. Report
